Reiki is a form of energy healing where the practitioner channels universal life force energy to support the body's natural ability to heal. Sessions are gentle, non-invasive, and can help with stress, anxiety, pain, emotional balance, and overall well-being. At Crimson Commuter, we offer both Usui and Karuna Reiki.

How should I prepare for a Reiki session?

Wear comfortable clothing, stay hydrated, and come with an open mind. Avoid heavy meals or alcohol beforehand. It is helpful to set an intention for your session, but not required.

Your first visit will begin with a brief conversation about your goals, health history, and any areas of focus. You will then lie fully clothed on a massage table while the practitioner places their hands lightly on or above your body. Most people feel warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation. Sessions typically last 60 minutes.

Most of our healing services -- including Reiki, sound healing, crystal healing, and in-person tarot -- are offered in person only at our Madison Heights location. Recorded tarot readings and astrology readings can be done remotely.

Your tarot session will begin with a short conversation about what you are looking to explore. Erin will guide you through the reading, explaining the cards and how they relate to your question or situation. Sessions are intuitive and personalized -- no prior experience or belief system is required.

Come with an open mind and, if possible, a question or area of life you would like to focus on. You do not need to share personal details in advance. Take a few moments to relax before your session begins.
